The community cleans house on the 3rd Saturday of June with a huge Community Yard Sale.
On the last weekend of July the Goose Creek Opry puts on a fabulous weekend of Bluegrass music and a fiddle contest.
Ag Appreciation Day is held in October.

In November on the Friday after Thanksgiving Wilbur has its Festival of Lights. Local Volunteers and the Chamber put up a dramatic display of Christmas Lights in the Town Park and around town. All the local businesses have a moonlight sale and Santa comes to Town for his first appearance of the year in a horse-drawn wagon. Free wagon rides are available after delivering your wish list to Santa.
The Big Bend Historical Museum is located in Wilbur. This is a beautiful Museum in an old church full of local history. For more information call 509-647-5863.
The Whitestone Winery has a "Tasting Room" at 115 N.E. Main Street - open Fridays from noon to 6 pm, Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Big Bend Golf and Country Club is a nine-hole Golf Course in Wilbur.
The Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area with camping, boating, water skiing and fishing is a quick 15 miles from Wilbur. Banks Lake, another recreation haven is an easy 35 miles from Wilbur. www.parks.wa.gov/parkspage
